PAC=Performing Arts Center   Lowden=Lowden Theater for the Performing Arts 

September 9-11 (Friday-Sunday) Varsity 3 travels to Cal Poly State University for the 2011 La Guitarra California Festival

October 21 (Friday) Varsity 2 & 3 perform first concert "Playing the Classics" in the PAC at 7:00 p.m. $7.00 admission (required attendance for Varsity 1)

November 4 & 5 (Friday & Saturday) Varsity 1 performs with the Directors' Choice High School Honor Guitar Ensemble-rehearsal on Friday

                           November 4 from 4:00 p 6:30 p.m., Saturday 8:00 a.m. - 10:00 and Performance at 11:00 a.m.-Noon in the PAC free admission

November 18 (Friday) Guitar Recital open to second, third & fourth year students-PAC-7:00 p.m. $7.00 admission (required attendance for guitar majors)

December 9 (Friday) Trans Siberian Guitar Orchestra Concert, Varsity 1, 2 & 3-PAC-7:00 p.m.-$7.00 (There will be an after school rehearsal for both Varsity 2 & Varsity 3 students)

February 24 & 25 (Friday & Saturday) Solo & Ensemble Festival at Clark High School-open to all guitar majors

March 9 (Friday) Classic Rock Guitar Concert, Varsity 1,2 & 3 - PAC-7:00-$7.00

March 10 (Saturday) NMEA Regional Solo & Ensemble Festival at Clark High School

March 24 & 25 (Saturday & Sunday) Varsity 3 travels to Loyola Marymount University for performance and workshops with Andrew York

March 28-April 1 (Wednesday - Sunday) Senior Guitar Quartet and Senior Trio travel to Brownsville, TX for National Guitar Ensemble Competition

April 12 (Thursday) Varsity 2 & 3 perform for the CCSD Guitar Ensemble Festival (during school hours)-PAC-free admsission

May 11 (Friday) Senior Guitar Recital-Lowden-7:00 p.m. -$7.00 (required attendance for guitar majors)

June 1 (Friday) Seniors' Choice Guitar Concert, Varsity 1,2 & 3-Lowden Theater-7:00 p.m. - $7.00

IN SUMMARY

There are 4 Guitar Concerts scheduled for the following dates: October 21, December 9, March 9 and June 1.  Admission is $7.00 for each concert.

There are 2 Guitar Recitals scheduled for the following dates: November 18 and May 11.  Admission is $7.00 for each recital.  All guitar majors are required to attend these two recitals.  Guitar majors not performing will receive one  complimentary ticket for each event.

Varsity 1 Guitar Ensemble members will perform on November 4&5, December 9, March 9 and June 1.  All other performance dates are required attendance.
